L'Associació de Professorat de Religió de Catalunya no té ànim de lucre. Pretén assessorar els seus associats laboralment i jurídica.
L'APRC va néixer l'any 1994 fruit de la preocupació d'un grup de professores i professors de religió arrel de la delicada situació currícular de l'àrea de religió i, de retruc, de la precària situació laboral que, des d'aleshores, afecta el col·lectiu. Actualment l'APRC representa prop del 90% del professorat de religió de Catalunya.
Alguns dels nostres objectius són: vetllar per dignificar la situació currícular de l'àrea de religió, reivindicar pacíficament una situació laboral més justa i igualitària respecte de la resta de professionals de l'ensenyament, informar la societat de la nostra situació laboral i professional així com de quina és la nostra funció com a personal docent i els objectius que la religió té a l'ensenyament públic.
La Asociación nació en el año 1994 producto de la inquietud de unos compañeros a raíz de la delicada situación laboral que desde entonces asola al colectivo. En la actualidad representamos a más del 90% del colectivo en Cataluña.
Nuestros objetivos son: informar a la sociedad de nuestra situación laboral, cuál es nuestra función como personal docente y qué objetivos tiene la religión dentro del sistema educativo español.
Since we are Religion teachers our task is to show a wider view of religiosity and religions in general, and particularly of Christianity with a special emphasis in Catholicism. We teach in a rigorous, open and critic way, so that the students do not remain religion-ignorant, culturally speaking. We try to make them able to have their own opinions about their beliefs and practices or about the beliefs and practices of other collectives or other cultures, and to make them able to have reasonable opinions.
L’Associació de Professorat de Religió de Catalunya (The Catalan Association of Religion Teachers) is a non-profit-making association. It tries to give professional and legal advice to their members.
The APRC was founded in 1994, as a result of the concern of some religion teachers, about the complicated situation of the religion in the curricula and the precarious labour situation that affects our collective. Nowadays, the APRC represents about the 90% of the religion teachers in Catalonia.
Some of our objectives are: to dignify the situation of the religion area in the curricula, to demand peacefully labour conditions –as the rest of teaching staff have-, to inform the society about our situation, about our function as teaching staff and about the objectives that religion, as a subject, has in Public Education.

Un cop celebrades les eleccions de l’APRC, molt concorregudes, i fet l’escrutini electoral pertinent, la Comissió Electoral de la Gestora certifica que la nova Junta de l’APRC està formada per:
